The group held their 3rd Annual Pinic on the 24th June 2001 and it was a great success with some 80 people turning out. They are planning a similar event next year around the same weekend.
They are working on having more services available with more information on Vietnam and it's effects on the family unit.

Dr Bob Hall who served as a Platoon Commander and Company Second in Command with the Eighth Battalion in Vietnam is conducting
research on Friendly Fire Incidents which occured in Vietnam, and in which there were no casualties. Previous research has been
focussed on incidents where there were casualties, and therefore an investigation was carried out. It is clear that there were many
more incidents without casualties, and these incidents have not been recorded.
The research is being carried out on behalf of the Defence Science and
Technology Organisation (DSTO), with the aim of identifying
the factors which contribute to friendly fire incidents and hopefully
reducing the threat to today's infantrymen. I would think
